Here, we introduce 'Farkade,' a new Web3 arcade that provides a platform for gamers to engage in arcade games and compete for a portion of the prize pool.

Background

Arcade gaming has a rich history dating back to the 1970s, when the first arcade games such as Pong and Space Invaders were introduced. Arcades provided a social experience for gamers to compete with each other, showcasing their skills and having fun with friends. However, with the rise of home gaming consoles, arcades began to decline, and the traditional arcade gaming industry has struggled to remain relevant in the 21st century.

On the other hand, Web3 has revolutionized the gaming industry, introducing new gaming experiences, expanding what people envision as the future of gaming. Web3 enables gamers to have true ownership of their in-game assets, allowing them to trade and exchange their items with other gamers. This has created a new economy centered around gaming, with gamers now able to earn real-world value from their in-game assets and experiences.

The Intersection Of Web3 & Gaming

Through Farkade, The Fallen aims to leverage the benefits of Web3 technology and integrate them into the traditional arcade gaming experience. Farkade will be a platform for gamers to engage in arcade games and compete for a portion of the prize pool. Each game will have an entry fee, and a percentage of the fees will be added to the prize pool. The winners of each game will be awarded a portion of the prize pool, incentivizing players to compete and improve their skills.

The arcade will be built on a decentralized infrastructure, utilizing Web3 technology to provide a secure and transparent gaming experience. The arcade games will be built using C and/or JavaScript, providing a seamless and engaging gaming experience for players. The games will be hosted on IPFS, ensuring that they are always accessible and cannot be taken down.

To create a seamless user experience, Farkade will be built on a range of technical frameworks. These include:

These contracts will be built on the Avalanche Network and will enable the creation of custom tokens and NFTs, as well as a range of other features such as voting, staking, and/or governance.

This will enable the arcade to leverage the strengths of multiple blockchains and enable the creation of custom tokens and NFTs that can be traded on multiple platforms.
